 Chesire benefits from Algoa FM Charity Golf Day
Cheshire Homes incorporating Khaya Cheshire was given the good news recently when Algoa FM announced the funds raised for the Algoa FM Charity Golf Day held recently. One of the biggest golf day's in the the Eastern Cape has managed to raise in excess of R700000 in its sixteen year history for non profit organisations in the region. This year Algoa FM was proud to announce that R65 000 would go directly to Cheshire Homes. “Algoa FM is truly fortunate to be supported by local business annually to raise funds for those in need within the Algoa FM community,” said Dave Tiltmann Managing Director of the station. The GIZA Challenge Yacht Regatta was held in Algoa Bay in May 2008, hosted by the Algoa Bay Yacht Club. The event its the club's premiere annual regatta attracting a strong fleet of local yachts as well as entries from around South Africa. Kevin Stead took the pics.
